Almost nothing about you

RidgeClub is a library you read, with no accounts and nothing to sign up for. This page says exactly what little it keeps, who handles it for us, and for how long. Questions or requests: hello@ridgeclub.com.

When you read the site

• No cookies. The site sets none, and nothing on it tracks you, here or elsewhere.
• Our host's logs. Like every website, ours is served by a host (Vercel) that keeps short-lived records of requests, which include network addresses, to run and protect the service.
• No analytics. We don't count or follow visitors.
• Error reports. When something breaks on our servers, an error report records what failed and on which page — nothing about you.

If you write to us

We keep your email and our reply only as long as we need them to answer you, and never add you to any list.

Links to other sites

Most of the library is links to other sites — monasteries, translators, archives. They have their own privacy policies. When you follow a link, your browser tells them only that you came from RidgeClub, not which page.

The people who look after the site

RidgeClub's administrators sign in with their email address, and we keep that address, a record of their sign-ins, and a record of the changes they make. Only they have accounts, and only they ever receive a cookie from us — one that keeps them signed in.

Who handles it for us

• Vercel hosts the site (United States).
• Neon stores the database: the site's content and its administrators' details (United States).
• Resend sends administrators their sign-in emails (United States).
• Sentry receives error reports, which contain nothing about you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or erase it; for almost everyone the answer is nothing at all. Write to hello@ridgeclub.com and we'll answer within a month. You can also complain to your country's data protection authority.

Changes

When what we keep, or how, changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
